🐣 Bake Sale - a sweet event! 😋

Well - what a bake sale we had in school today! 
Our Amber Flag (+ friends!) set up and ran the bake sale after lunch. It took place in the school halla. It featured many home-baked favourites such as cookies, millionaire shortbread, chocolate biscuit cake, queen cakes and many variations of the ever popular rice krispie buns. 
There was many, many more treats - in fact, we were completely humbled with the effort and contributions made by our families. Thank you all so very much. 
A special thank you lies with the boys and girls on the Amber Flag Committee (+ website committee) for their excellent organisational skills, and impressive salesperson skills. It was beyond a doubt an absolute joy to watch these children take ownership of the whole event and run it with such enthusiasm. 

The efforts of today's bake sale resulted in a magnificent fundraising success of €442.65. 
We are thrilled to present this to Pieta House and are brimming with pride for our wonderful pupils here at Carrowholly! 

It was such a fantastic success, we will have to consider adding it to our calendar annually!
