Festive Fever hits Carrowholly National School!
13th Dec 2023
Christmas Decorations
It has many little snowmen and soft reindeer placed along the wall aswell as a large Santa Claus, towering over the children, and even the teachers! While we perform our Christmas plays for our parents,
the Christmas tree glistens in all its glory.
It is decorated with shining red and gold baubles and bright lights. A crib is placed at the top of the stairs with Mary, Joseph, the 3 kings, all the animals and of course, baby Jesus. We have a second crib which is made out of wood and painted with detail and precision. This year, 6th class have been working hard to decorate the school and create a festive atmosphere once again. Everyone enjoys looking around finding the new places of the ornaments and trinkets, which is always different! All the children, from Junior Infants to 6th class, are looking forward to this time of the year.
They may be looking forward to Santa coming, but they're also looking forward to seeing the wonderful Christmas decorations scattered around the school. Merry Christmas!
