There was great excitement as the Junior and Senior Infants embarked the bus on Thursday 23rd June towards Graune Pet Farm!
As soon as we arrived, we were brought to the indoor and outdoor facilities to play. The indoor 'Kidzone' Play centre had three big slides which provided lots of laughter and enjoyment.
We followed this with a small snack and ventured into the outdoor playing area! Shortly afterwards, we were offered a guided tour of the farming facilities where we met a wide variety of animals e.g. alpacas, dogs, cats, sheep etc.! We had opportunities to pet kittens, bunnies, goats. We were excited to feed some animals also with bottles and animal feed. Some of the animals were very hungry and made us giggle!
We enjoyed a delicious, hot lunch of nuggets and chips! The staff were very kind to us and we really enjoyed our tour!
Ms. O'Hanlon, Ms. Cannon and Shona (our secretary) really enjoyed our sing-song on our return journey from Ballyhaunis to Carrowholly N.S.! We will remember our special day for a long time!
