We are delighted to announce some very exciting news here in Carrowholly National School today!

WE HAVE BEEN AWARDED PIETA HOUSE'S "Amber Flag". 


This is testament to the stellar hard work and commitment of the Amber Flag Committee, who have promoted positive mental health and wellbeing in our school since last September with Mrs Behan.

Our year included lots of activities such as the "Positivi-tree", "Mindful Mondays" and "Thankful Thursdays". Not to mention our creation of a wonderful space for reading - our new school library. Our school community showed great dedication to promoting positive mental health through encouraging teamwork.
We are currently awaiting our flag to arrive at the school to officially celebrate and raise it proudly here in Carrowholly. 

Today the Amber Flag Committee had a special treat - fruit and granola bowls with orange juice. A well deserved time out after their successful efforts.
