The Amber Flag Committee at Carrowholly National School are delighted to promote "Thoughtful Tuesdays" for the month of December. As a Catholic School, Advent is an important event on our calendar. We take this time to reflect, share kindness and prepare for Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ. We feel that December is a great time to focus on being thoughtful.
As part of our plans for the month, we will be creating a Positivi-tree. We invite the staff, pupils, parents and wider community to add to our tree, documenting acts of kindness they witness throughout the week. We will focus on increasing our kind gestures. It will be uplifting to see how the tree grows and flourishes throughout the month.
Remember - "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is every wasted".
