Following a year of prioritising wellbeing for our school community through various initiatives, we were delighted to be awarded an Amber Flag as part of our ongoing commitment to this!
Ms. Behan set up an Amber Flag Student Committee, who met with her on a weekly basis to undertake this long-term project. The student voice was actively promoted in spear-heading wellbeing initiatives for the benefits of students and staff, alike. Thank you for all of the fantastic work that has been done this year in promoting this positive initiative.
We felt incredibly proud of our past pupil and European Light Flyweight Champion, Shannon Sweeney, in raising this flag today on behalf of Carrowholly N.S. She is an exceptional role model for our students and is the epitome of positivity, determination and all that our Amber Flag initiative promotes!
