Many thanks to Ellen Lonergan who recently visited the Senior Room after completing her first term in Wayland Baptist University in Texas, USA. Ellen earned a golf and academic scholarship in Maths and Engineering and spoke to the pupils of her experience so far. Ellen recounted her experiences of attending University in another country, acclimatising to the weather in Texas and describing her daily routine. Thanks to Ellen for taking the time to visit us in Carrowholly and we let her know that she is very welcome back again in the future.
